The 24 Hour race at ARRA

Back in the eighties, many clubs held 24 hour endurance races, often for charity. Here at ARRA we have a long history of 24 hour races at our current track and the world record is still at our track for 1/32nd.

Our race was often held to coincide with the Le-Mans 24 hour race and was run to the normal rules. (more later).

The current record is 305.949 miles held by the North London SME team drivers were Ian Fisher, Chris James, Alan Lucas, Paul Harwood and Paul Martin. The record was set on 5/6th July 1986.

Will there be another 24 hour race? will the record be broken?

We need 4 teams, with 3 - 5 drivers each to show interest and then we can look at setting a date.
